Why Inversion?
Inversion therapy reduces: Back pain, muscle spasms, compression on discs and nerves, congestion and stagnation.
Inversion therapy increases: Circulation, mobility of the vertebrae, hip joint mobility, lymph drainage, flexibility and relaxation of muscles
For the spine to function properly, it must be correctly aligned, the intervertebral discs must be elastic and correctly positioned, the intervertebral muscles, ligaments and joints must be strong and supple, and the muscles of the back and abdomen must be strong and in good condition.
As we age there could be erosion of the articular surfaces of the joints or herniation of intervertebral discs which cause pressure on the spinal nerves leading to discomfort and pain and compromised capacity for physical activity.
By inverting on the Inversion table, we 'open' the spine and allow the space for realignment. By rocking in a horizontal position, this squeezes the discs allowing them to absorb fluid from the spine and regain their elasticity.

The table is set to the clients height so that when the client lies down, the table is in a horizontal position.

Here the client is lying comfortably at the correct angle

By raising her hand over her head, she changes the angle of the table and starts to invert

With both arms over her head, the client is now inverted to 45 degrees which comfortably opens the spine.
A strap can be attached, ensuring that the angle of inversion is set at a desired degree for people who don't wish to invert too far.

Should you wish to invert to a vertical degree, you can do this too. You are totally in control of the degree of inversion.
